Gabriel is the Chief Commercial Officer of Bowtie, Hong Kong’s leading virtual life insurer. He is responsible for bringing to life Bowtie’s vision and commercial strategy, as well as driving continued growth.


Considering himself as a change agent, Gabriel is passionate about revolutionising the practices within the insurance sector. Gabriel is the key driver of Bowtie’s platform and cross-industry digital partnership business, making insurance “useful” and “good” again.


Gabriel was previously the Director of Digital Commerce at FWD and led the change in creating the first online life insurance platform in Hong Kong, as well as implementing multiple InsurTech initiatives in telematics, digital wallet, big data and business automation across SEA markets.


He is the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and holds a Master in e-commerce at the University of Hong Kong and a BBA Finance and Information System at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
