Yuman Chan

Yuman is a passionate executive with over 26 years of experience in the insurance industry across regional markets, including Asia, Europe and the US, in roles related to technology, change and risk management, as well as operations and strategy.

Prior to joining Bupa, Yuman was the Director of Strategy at AIA Group Office. He also previously held senior leadership roles with Cigna and AIG. He has led a number of initiatives and projects that have driven significant growth in the insurance business.

At Bupa, Yuman focuses on curating a holistic healthcare ecosystem beyond health protection to empower end-to-end health and care with Bupa-branded Medical Centres and wellness offerings. He also aims to expand Bupa’s health insurance capability by innovating around comprehensive health propositions to grow its corporate and individual businesses further.

Yuman’s passion is very aligned with Bupa’s mission of helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. His objective is to lead Bupa Hong Kong to the next chapter by delivering a step-change in customer experience and giving customers something unique in the market.
