We collect and hold personal data of our clients in relation to their personal and sub-scheme particulars, contribution and relevant income information. This data is collected for the purposes of:

• administering the client's account
• authenticating user login name for providing a series of electronic services to inquire or/and process your member account
• statistical or actuarial research performed by our company, our associated companies or the provident fund industry, and
• promotional offers of new or additional service  

Certain Web Sites require users to register with Gain Miles by supplying their names and other personal information in order to have access to specific Web Site features (“Registered Users”). All Registered Users receive a username and password. When you register on a Web Site, Gain Miles may use your data to provide you with information reports as well as information about goods and services offered by Gain Miles. Gain Miles may also use the information provided by Registered Users to perform statistical analyses on our clients and understand client demographics.

We may retain such information for a period in our backup systems as a precaution against system failures. GAIN MILES shall, subject to data protection principles and all relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, have the rights to use, distribute, reproduce, and disclose worldwide any information which is not Personal Information, including but not limited to feedback, data, answers, questions, comments, suggestions, plans or ideas etc., for any purposes deemed appropriate by GAIN MILES, without compensation or acknowledgement of its source. GAIN MILES shall be free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in information which you provide to GAIN MILES through this Site, including but not limited to developing, manufacturing, and marketing products or services incorporating or otherwise based on such information.  
 

Gain Miles is not in the business of selling User Information to others. Gain Miles may, however, share or disclose information you provide us to other companies and people under the following circumstances:

• Agents and Service Providers.We sometimes employ or contract with other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, such as supporting our systems infrastructure, arranging conferences, etc. Such information will be used solely to provide the contracted services for Gain Miles.
• Other.Gain Miles has the right to disclose any User Information without your prior permission if Gain Miles has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Gain Miles, its clients, suppliers, or the public; or respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties. In this we will strictly adhere to the privacy laws and regulations in the relevant jurisdictions.

Gain Miles may aggregate User Information and may disclose aggregated information to third parties for marketing and promotional purposes. However, in these situations, we do not disclose to these entities any information that could be used to identify you.  
 

GAIN MILES shall at all times use all reasonable endeavours to keep confidential the personal information provided to GAIN MILES, [including the client’s name, bank account information, contact number, address, income, employer particulars, age, marital status and family information] (“Personal Information”), and shall not disclose the same to any third parties not authorized by the clients, except under the compulsion of law. Gain Miles places a high priority on the security of User Information. We utilize appropriate technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect against loss, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, modification, and improper disclosure. Gain Miles securely stores the information you enter on the Web Sites, including registration information and your account password, on our data servers.
